Meta Quest privacy policy

Your world stays yours.

Effective October 5, 2026

This policy covers Solarpunk: Heartsprings for Meta Quest, published by Fidel Seehawer. For the iOS game and this website, see our iOS and website privacy policy.

How the game uses data

Solarpunk is a single-player game. Gameplay runs on your headset. There is no in-game account registration, advertising, social network, or in-app purchase. We do not operate a gameplay server or sell personal data.

Progress and settings

Mission progress, stars, unlocked missions, language, audio choices, and tabletop height are stored on your headset to run the game and remember your choices. The game does not send these saved values to us. Technical and gameplay status messages may appear in the headset’s local diagnostic logs.

Headset, controller, and hand tracking

The game processes headset and controller poses, button input, and, when enabled, hand-joint positions and gestures to draw the scene and let you point, grab, rotate, and place objects. These inputs are processed on the headset during play. The game does not record raw tracking histories or send them to us. It does not request microphone audio or access to raw camera images.

Meta services and purchase verification

The Meta Platform SDK checks at launch whether your Meta account is entitled to use the game. The game receives a success or failure result and uses it to allow access. This check may require a network connection. Our game code does not request your Meta profile, friends list, email address, or payment details.

Meta operates the store, account, payment, headset, and platform services. Its SDK and platform process information such as account or device identifiers, system configuration, operating system version, and diagnostic or error information for operation, security, and reliability. Meta handles this information under its own policies. Read Meta’s privacy policy and its essential SDK data policy.

Support and retention

If you email support@solarpunk.quest, we receive your email address and message so we can help you. Only send information needed for your request. ImprovMX forwards messages to our inbox under its privacy policy. We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Deleting data and your choices

You can remove locally saved game progress and settings by clearing the app’s data in your headset settings. Uninstalling removes local app data, but a platform backup may restore it after reinstalling. Manage any backups through Meta’s backup controls. We do not hold a separate copy of your saved game.

To request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence or other personal data we hold, email support@solarpunk.quest with the subject “Privacy request”. We will handle your request under applicable law. For data held by Meta, use the privacy and account controls linked in Meta’s privacy policy.

Audience and updates

The Quest version is intended for teenagers aged 13 and above and adults, subject to Meta’s regional age requirements. We will update this policy when the game’s data practices change.
